Dementia Does Not Define A Person
Dementia is a widely misunderstood condition, even by physicians. Society’s stigmatized perception about living with dementia has profound negative effects on them. Rather than being understood as people with many aspects to their lives who have some changing abilities needing accommodations, they become reduced to their diagnosis. DAA provides help, hope and education about living with dementia or MCI.
